This page will track all cards that are banned, suspended and on the watchlist in the various allowed formats that are available. All formal functional errata will be included at the bottom of the article.

 

This page is based both on Equinox’s OFFICIAL CARDS RULINGS document and Re:Union's new changes.

Standard

Standard is the format that existed under Equinox and allows for all cards from sets 1-5 (sets 6 and 7 once they are introduced). Once set 7 comes in, this format will be renamed Eternal and a new standard format will be introduced with its own banned and restricted list.

 

These rulings also carry through other formats including Frontier, Living Legend and No-Unique.

Banned

• Moonlight Jellyfish (all Unique versions)

Some Unique versions of Moonlight Jellyfish appear in the selected pool for the Frontier format. They have been reviewed individually to make sure they don’t recreate the problematic interactions that led them to be banned in the first place.

Suspended

Functional & Balancing Errata

The following cards have received functional / balancing errata:

Afanas & Senka (Hero - Yzmir)

• The original printing of this card said: "When you play a Spell — Target Character you control gains 1 boost. (Do this after the spell resolves.)"
• The wording now says: "Spells you play with Hand Cost 1 or less have Fleeting. When you play a Spell — Target Character you control gains 1 boost. (Do this after the spell resolves.)" 

Bliss Drummer (Common, Rare, OOF Rare - Lyra and Axiom)

• The French translation on the first printing was incorrect.
• It should say: "Les autres Personnages/autres Artistes/Robots joués depuis votre Réserve coûtent {1} de moins, jusqu'à un minimum de {1}." 

Daedelus (Common - Lyra)

• Daedalus (Common, Lyra Version only) Reserve Cost is 3. Some of the Alt Art versions were erroneously printed with a Mana Cost of 2. 

Foundry Armorer (Unique - some Bravos versions)

The Unique, Bravos versions of Foundry Armorer were temporarily suspended in all versions of Constructed Format (1vs1, 2vs2 and Free for All) from February 1st, 2025 until 13th of May, 2025. As of this ruling, all Foundry Armorer are legal in every format. The effects of some of them have been updated.

• The problematic effect was: “When I gain 1 or more boosts - Create a Brassbug 2/2/2 Robot token in target Expedition”, without conditions.
• It has been replaced by: “When I gain 1 or more boosts - Create a Brassbug 2/2/2 Robot token in my Expedition”.

Gericht, Revered Duelist (Unique - Bravos, Lyra)

All Gericht are unsuspended. The effects of some of them has been updated.

Haven, Bravos Bastion (Rare - Axiom)

• The first printing of the Axiom OOF rare Haven, Bravos Bastion said "{J} Resupply. Your Characters have: "{R} I gain 1 boost."
• The revised balancing text should read “{J} Resupply. {T}: The next Character you play from your reserve this turn gains 1 boost.”

Icebound Lake (Common, Rare - Ordis; Rare OOF - Yzmir)

• The original printing of Icebound Lake said: "When a non-token Character joins one of your Expeditions, if it's behind — I gain a Trial counter. When I gain my third Trial counter — Sacrifice me. If you do, create a Dragon Shade 5/5/5 Illusion token in target Expedition, then target Character gains Asleep."
• The current version of the card now says: "When you play a Character — If its Expedition is behind, I gain 1 Trial counter. When I gain my third Trial counter — Sacrifice me. If you do, create a Dragon Shade 5/5/5 Illusion token in target Expedition, then target Character gains Asleep." 

Icebound Taiga (Common, Rare - Muna; Rare OOF - Lyra)

• The previous wording on this card read: "When you play a Character in Forest — I gain a Trial counter."
• The card currently reads: "When you play a Character — If it's in Forest, I gain 1 Trial counter." (The condition being after the — indicates that you check it at resolution). 

Icebound Tundra (Common, Rare - Lyra; Rare OOF - Yzmir)

• The previous wordings said:  “When you play a Character in a region type where its base statistic is 0 — I gain a Trial counter.”
• Future printings will read:  “When you play a Character — If it's in a terrain where its base statistic is 0, I gain 1 Trial counter.” (The condition being after the — indicates that you check it at resolution).

Kadigiran Mage-Dancer (Rare - Yzmir)

• The original printing of Kagiran Mage Dancer said: “At Dusk, if I have 3 or more boosts — ...".
• The card should now read: "At Dusk — If I have 3 or more boosts, ..." 

Kitsune (Rare - Muna)

• Previous versions of Kitsune said: "{H} Each player may Resupply. (Put the top card of their deck in Reserve.)"
• The revised version now reads: "{H} Each player Resupplies. (They put the top card of their deck in Reserve.)" 

Mighty Jinn (Common, Rare - Bravos; Rare OOF - Lyra)

• The first printing of Mighty Jinn said "When I leave the Expedition zone — You may put me in my owner's Mana zone (as an exhausted Mana Orb)."
• Future printings will say: "If I would leave the Expedition zone, you may put me in my owner's Mana zone instead (as an exhausted Mana Orb)." This change does not impact Unique versions of Mighty Jinn.

Moonlight Jellyfish (Common, Rare - Yzmir; Rare OOF - Axiom)

• The original printing of Moonlight Jellyfish read: "When I'm sacrificed, if I'm not Fleeting — Put me in Reserve."
• The card should now read: "When I'm sacrificed, if I was not Fleeting — Put me in Reserve."

Moth Collision (Rare OOF - Ordis)

• The first printing of the Rare, Ordis version of Moth Collision mistakenly read : "If you control a Soldier, I cost {2} less. Discard target Character with Hand Cost {3} or less.".
• The correct version says : "If you control a Soldier, I cost {1} less. Discard target Character."

Ozma (Common, Rare - Ordis)

• The first printing of Ozma said: "{J} If you control three or more other Characters, draw a card."
• The revised wording now reads: “{J} If you control three or more other Characters, Resupply."

Phileas Fogg (Unique - Axiom)

• The effect “You may pass. If you do: The next Permanent you play this Afternoon costs {2} less to play.”
• …has been updated to “You may pass. If you do: You may immediately play a Permanent for {2} less.”

Red (Rare - Bravos)

• The first printing of Red (Rare, Bravos) said: “At Dusk, if I have 3 or more boosts — ...”.
• Future printings will say: "At Dusk — If I have 3 or more boosts, …” This change indicates that you check the condition when you resolve the effects. This change does not affect Unique versions of Red.

Robin Hood (Common, Rare - Ordis; Rare OOF - Lyra; Unique - Ordis, Lyra)

• The original printing of Robin Hood said: "Characters your opponents play cost {1} more."
• The revised wording now reads: "Characters your opponents play can't cost less than {2}. (If they would cost less, they cost {2} instead.)" This change impacts all versions of this effect, including the ones found on Unique cards. Any card that uses the previous wording should be read as if it used the new one.

Saskia, Sly Naturalist (Common - Muna)

• The original French printing of Saskia, Sly Naturalist, had a misprint: it said: "Target Character in forest" instead of "target another Character in forest". The other languages were not affected.

Sigismar & Wingspan (Hero - Ordis)

• The original printed version said "At Noon — Create an Ordis Recruit 1/1/1 Soldier token in your Hero Expedition."
• The wording now says: "At Noon — Create an Ordis Recruit 1/1/1 Soldier token in your Hero Expedition. Ignore my abilities during the first Day."

Spindle Harvesters (Rare - Muna)

• The first printing of the rare said: " I gain Anchored. At Noon, if I have 2 or more boosts — Resupply."
• The card should now read: " I gain Anchored. At Noon — If I have 2 or more boosts, Resupply." 

The Magic Sleigh (Common, Rare - Lyra; Rare OOF - Bravos)

• The first printing of The Magic Sleigh said: "If my Expedition would move forward during Dusk, it moves twice instead."
• Future printings will say: "If my Expedition would move forward during Dusk, it moves forward one more region instead." This clarifies the intended interaction with multiple copies of such an effect.

Tiny Jinn (Common, Rare - Bravos; Rare OOF - Muna)

• The first printing of Common and Rare Tiny Jinn said  "When I leave the Expedition zone, if I'm Boosted — Put me in my owner's Mana zone…"
• Future printings will say:  "If I would leave the Expedition zone while I'm Boosted, put me in my owner's Mana zone…"  This change doesn't affect Unique Tiny Jinn.

Waru & Mack (Hero - Ordis)

• The original printings of Waru & Mack said "At Noon, if you control a Bureaucrat — Create an Ordis Recruit 1/1/1 Soldier token in target Expedition. When you play a Bureaucrat — You may have it gain Asleep."
• The wording now says "When you play a Bureaucrat — It gains Asleep." 

Will-o’-the-Wisp (Common, Rare - Lyra, Rare OOF - Muna)

• The original printing of Will-o'-the-Wisp for Lyra said: "If the Expedition facing me is in Water, it can only move forward due to Water."
• The card now reads: "If an Expedition facing me is in Water, it can't move forward during Dusk except due to Water." The Muna version has similar text for Forest. This change doesn't affect the Unique versions of Will-O-the-Wisp, which still prevent moving forward outside of Dusk.
